The Catholic Church in Scotland has launched a logo for Pope Benedict's visit to the country on 16 September 2010.
Award-winning Scottish graphic designer Gregory Millar produced the logo that combines the Papal cross with the St Andrew's cross. The quotation that circles the design is taken from Pope Benedict's Address to Young People in the USA in 2008.

Lord Patten of Barnes, the Prime Minister’s personal representative for the State Visit of Pope Benedict XVI visited Birmingham to view preparations for the Papal Mass and Beatification of Cardinal Newman at Cofton Park on Sunday 19 September.

The Papal Master of Ceremonies, Mgr Guido Marini and two officials from his Vatican office visited Cofton Park, on Thursday 8 July during a Liturgical Planning Visit to Birmingham, London and Glasgow.
Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate Mass and Beatify Cardinal Newman at Cofton Park on Sunday 19 September - the culmination of his historic four-day State Visit.

Pope Benedict XVI has said that he is looking forward to beatifying the Venerable John Henry Cardinal Newman - the best-known English churchman of the 19th century, during his historic four-day State Visit to Britain.
Pope Benedict told Archbishop Bernard Longley that he was looking forward "very much" to the ceremony at Cofton Park, Birmingham on Sunday 19 September.
